International Digital Economy Academy (IDEA) was founded by Dr. Heung-Yeung Shum, a foreign member of both the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and the Royal Academy of Engineering, and former Executive Vice President of Microsoft. The institute is dedicated to cutting-edge research and industrial implementation in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital economy, positioning itself as an international innovative institution. The AI Finance and Deep Learning Research Center (referred to as "FinAI") was established by Professor Guo Jian, the Executive President and Chief Scientist of IDEA, who previously taught at Harvard University in the United States. FinAI aims to enhance the precision, efficiency, and stability of financial investments and credit through the development of world-leading artificial intelligence technologies, thereby promoting the inclusiveness of the financial investment market for society. The IDEA Institute strives to incubate high-quality enterprises, cultivate outstanding talents, and build a collaborative ecosystem, all starting from technological innovation, ultimately benefiting more people from the development of the digital economy. FinAI will continue to drive the deep integration of technology and industry, leveraging the potential of new AI technologies to make finance and investment more precise, swift, and secure.

粤港澳大湾区数字经济研究院（International Digital Economy Academy，简称IDEA研究院）由美国国家工程院外籍院士、英国皇家工程院外籍院士和微软公司原执行副总裁沈向洋博士创建，致力于人工智能和数字经济领域的前沿研究与产业落地，是一家国际化创新型机构。 AI金融与深度学习研究中心（简称“FinAI”）由IDEA执行院长兼首席科学家、曾任教于美国哈佛大学的郭健教授创建，旨在通过研发世界前沿的人工智能技术，让金融投资和信贷更精准、更高效、更稳健，助力金融投资市场普惠社会。 IDEA研究院力求从技术出发，孵化优质企业、培养杰出人才、构建合作生态，最终让更多的人从数字经济发展中获益。FinAI将持续推动技术与产业深度融合，通过挖掘AI新技术的潜力，让金融与投资更精准、更迅捷、更安全。
