I could be wrong, but this doesn't seem like the right fix -- can you explain more as to how this change fixes the problem?

Apologies couldn't make my reply at earliest. Answering to your question, this space wasn't able to run since it has issues in run time as they weren't a reference to Shiny library in docker file, so adding it would make the space run. I had encountered similar problem, and the suggestion was based on my problem solving.
However, I see the space running; Happy coding!!
