I had the same issue.
Fixed by running huggingface-cli login first.

Thanks for reporting the issue @yijiu and answering @bilunsun . Let us update this in model card for resolving future trouble shooting.

I am also having trouble accesing the model, even when logging in via cli.

@alcocerjj Did you accept "the conditions to access its files and content" from the top of model card?

Hi i have the same problem and i do the same with the command login

Access to model nvidia/NV-Embed-v1 is restricted. You must be authenticated to access it.I cannot run the code template and I think I already get the access,but still error happened

After using huggingface cli login in ,it fixed now
