My stay was very pleasant. The service was top notch, and the staff were courteous and prompt, attending to every need I had. Since I also needed to work remotely a few late evenings and nights, reliable Wi-Fi was essential, and Essentia did not disappoint.  It took a couple of hours upon check-in, but once set up, my Wi-Fi connection was stable for the entire duration of my stay. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and so was the dinner room service. Thank you!

A note though: Google Maps (as did Uber) showed two Essentia Premier hotels -- one at Rajiv Gandhi Salai, and another one few kilometers south at Old Mahabalipuram road, which is a dead end. I took an Uber to the wrong address at 71/2 OMR, and had to retrace my path back to the one at 71/2 Rajiv Gandhi Salai.
