# Lindsay Lohan (Present Day) Flux Model
Lindsay Dee Lohan, born July 2, 1986, in New York City, NY, is an American actress, singer/songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur. Her breakthrough came in 1998 when she played identical twins in the Walt Disney Pictures film “The Parent Trap.” Lohan parlayed its success into roles in additional Disney projects: the Disney Channel original movies “Life-Size” (2000) and “Get a Clue” (2002), and the big-screen productions “Freaky Friday” (2003) and “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” (2004).
Lohan's early work won her childhood stardom, but it was 2004’s teen comedy “Mean Girls” that established her as a leading Hollywood actress. After starring in the family-friendly comedies “Herbie: Fully Loaded” (2005) and “Just My Luck” (2006), Lohan began choosing roles in independent films such as “A Prairie Home Companion” (2006) and “Chapter 27” (2007), hoping to further show her range. Her reported behavior on the set of 2007’s “Georgia Rule," coupled with disastrous reviews and box office for her film "I Know Who Killed Me" (2007), set into motion a series of personal struggles that plagued her life and career for the next 10+ years. Her frequent legal issues, court appearances, and stints in rehabilitation facilities made her a paparazzi target and a fixture in the tabloids.
She attempted an acting comeback with the Lifetime biopic “Liz & Dick” (2012), in which she portrayed Elizabeth Taylor, and the low-budget independent film “The Canyons” (2013), but both projects were savaged by critics. In 2014, under the guidance of Oprah Winfrey, Lohan filmed the docu-series “Lindsay." She subsequently made her stage debut in the London West End production of “Speed-the-Plow” (2014), starred in the second season of the comedy series “Sick Note” (2018), and served as a panelist in the first season of “Masked Singer Australia” (2019).
Between 2016 and 2018, she opened three beach clubs in Greece, which were the focus of the MTV reality series “Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club.” After signing a multi-picture deal with Netflix, Lohan starred in the romantic comedies “Falling for Christmas” (2022), ‘Irish Wish” (2024), and “Our Little Secret” (2024). Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis, alongside other returning cast members, will be starring in a “Freaky Friday” sequel set to hit theaters in 2025.
Lohan signed with Casablanca Records in 2002 and later released two studio albums, the platinum-certified “Speak” (2004) and gold-certified “A Little More Personal (Raw)” (2005), as well as the standalone singles “Bossy” (2008) and “Back to Me” (2020). She has also contributed to multiple soundtracks, including those of her own films “Freaky Friday,” “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen,” “A Prairie Home Companion,” and “Falling for Christmas.” Despite teasing a third album as recently as 2020, Lohan presently has no plans to continue with her music career.
